Police: Elderly Man in Turban Accused of Sexual Battery

Loudoun County police are looking for a man with an unusual description: He’s Middle Eastern, in his 80s, 6 feet 4 inches tall and wearing an orange turban.

But he could face serious charges - abduction and sexual battery, according to a police report. They stem from an incident that occurred at 9:45 p.m. Monday in the 24600 block of Rosebay Terrace in Aldie.

A woman reported to police that she was sitting outside of her home Monday night when an unknown man approached her. He began conversing with her and asking personal questions. The suspect then grabbed her and attempted to kiss her, and she stood up and tried to enter her home.

He stopped and continued to talk to her before grabbing her again, kissing her and touching her inappropriately, according to police. The victim was able to escape his grasp and get into her home.

The victim declined any medical treatment, the police said.
