Police: Girl Grabbed By Man on Bicycle

Suspect remains at large after Monday night incident: Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a man on a bicycle who accosted and grabbed a girl Monday night on a walking path in Sterling, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.

The juvenile victim told police that she was on a path in the 46700 block of Sugarland Run Drive with some friends when an unknown man on a dark blue bicycle approached them. The suspect grabbed the victim and made inappropriate statements to her, a police report stated.

The group walked away, and the man continued to follow them and grabbed the victim again. The group then ran from the area, the police report said.

Sheriff’s deputies searched the area, but no suspect matching the police description was located. The suspect is described as an older Hispanic man with a heavy build, a chubby face and black hair. He was wearing a white shirt, long shorts and black shoes at the time of the incident.
