Police: Group Assaults Pizza Delivery Driver in Sterling

The victim was able to flee the scene before anything was taken, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the alleged assault of a pizza delivery driver in Sterling on Tuesday.

The victim was delivery a pizza at 6:10 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of Fletcher Road. He told police that an unknown man started to yell at him.

One man grabbed the victim while four other men began to assault him. One of the subjects attempted to grab at the victim’s pockets, according to an LCSO release.

The victim was able to flee the scene and suffered only minor injuries during the assault.
