Police: Paramedic Arrested for Inappropriate Contact with a Minor

Volunteer paramedic charged with indecent liberties with a child, according to Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

A volunteer paramedic is accused of having inappropriate contact with an underage girl, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.

Timothy M. Ward, 31, of Sterling, is charged with indecent liberties with a child by a person in a custodial or supervisory relationship and use of a communication device to solicit a child.

Ward is a Lieutenant at the Hamilton Volunteer Rescue Squad and a volunteer paramedic with the Sterling Rescue Squad.

Investigators are withholding other details in the case in order to protect the identity of the victim, according to an LCSO release.

Ward is being held on no bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
