Police Release Sketch of Suspect in Home Invasion Robbery

Four suspects broke into Ashburn home on Monday, says Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a home invasion robbery that occurred Monday afternoon in the Farmwell Hunt community in Ashburn, and released a sketch Tuesday of one of the suspects.

At about 3:40 p.m. Monday, four unknown males entered a townhome in the 21300 block of Sawyer Square and confronted a teenage resident inside, the sheriff’s office said. One suspect brandished a knife and demanded cash. The suspects grabbed cash from the victim and also took a video game system and the victim’s cell phone.

During the robbery, another resident of the home returned and was confronted by the suspects. Neither victim was injured during the robbery, the sheriff’s office said.

All four suspects are described as black males. One suspect was wearing a black shirt with cargo shorts and had tattoos on his neck.

The suspects fled in a gold SUV, possibly a Chevrolet. The area was searched, but no suspects were located, the sheriff’s office said.

Detectives with the sheriff’s office have released a composite sketch of one of the suspects and a photo of the type of vehicle (not the actual vehicle) that the suspects used to leave the scene.
