Police: Runner Assaulted in Lansdowne Area
Woman fought off the man and ran to a passerby, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies are investigating a report of a female runner assaulted early Thursday morning in the Lansdowne area, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.
At 5:45 a.m., the victim was running in the area of Riverside Parkway and Kipheart Drive when she was assaulted by an unknown male.
The suspect tackled the woman to the ground. She was able to fight off the man and run to a passerby who drove her home. She then reported the incident to authorities.

The suspect is described as a black male. He was reportedly wearing a hoodie, possibly grey in color, with the hood up. He was also wearing possible khaki pants.
He fled the area on foot towards the Lansdowne Town Center.
