Possibly Phony Uber Driver Sought in Loudoun County: Police
A man possibly posing as an Uber driver gave a woman a ride home earlier this month and may have attempted to sexually assault her: LCSO.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — A man possibly posing as an Uber driver gave a woman a ride home earlier this month and may have attempted to sexually assault her on the way, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Police have released a composite sketch of the suspect, who's described as being in his early 30s with light skin and a thin build. The woman said he had a foreign accent and was driving an older model tan 4-door car.
On Jan. 6, the woman said she had been at One Loudoun and used the Uber app to call for a ride. She said she saw a vehicle and asked the driver if he was her Uber driver. He said he wasn't but would give her a ride home. Throughout the ride, he placed his hand on her and propositioned her. When the arrived at the destination, she got out and he drove away.
Detectives have worked with Uber to try to identify him but it's unclear whether he works for the company. Police urge anyone with information to call 703-777-0475.
