Preschoolers at The Goddard School in Ashburn Learn Science

The science fair was designed to pique children's natural curiosity in STEAM learning

Local preschoolers at The Goddard School in Ashburn, VA along with other Goddard School preschool locations throughout the Washington D.C. area hosted a science fair on March 12th.

Students at the Ashburn location showcased their knowledge on the scientific method by participating in exciting science experiments such as investigating the power of air pressure by watching a Soda Can Jump, and exploring the scientific secrets of soap through the Color Changing Milk experiment.

The event was designed to pique children’s natural curiosity in STEAM learning (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics). Teaching children to collaborate, communicate, be creative and think critically, the science fair is an opportunity for Goddard School children to showcase their learning through projects and experiments while demonstrating The Goddard School’s unique F.L.E.X. (Fun, Learning, Experience) Program in action.
