Driving around Ashburn, I sometimes I judge people for their car choices. (I know you do it too.) Sometimes I see a high school girl driving a GMC Denali and think, “You absolutely do not need to be driving that clunker.” Other times I see a couple driving a coup stuffed with luggage, bikes, and accessories in trunk, roof, and back seat and think “You should probably get an SUV.”

Sometimes, it’s hard to be introspective and think clearly about your car needs. We get attached to the idea of owning a certain car, even though we’ve passed the stage in our lives when it’s appropriate to own that car.
