Giant and the Rotary Club of Ashburn are launching their annual campaign July 23rd to ensure that children in need, who live in Loudoun and Fairfax Counties, begin their school year with essential but basic school supplies. Area Giants will display posters with a list of needed items and bins to collect the purchased supplies. The campaign ends August 6th with a goal of reaching 1,000 children whose families do not have the financial resources to provide their children with needed school supplies.
Costco generously donated hundreds of backpacks which will be filled with the supplies donated.
