Rash of Locker Thefts Return to Ashburn Gyms
Six lockers broken into on Thursday at two gyms, according to Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Gym lockers in Ashburn have been targeted once again by thieves in two instances on Thursday, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office. The latest incidents follow several reports in November in both Ashburn and Sterling.
Victims reported the first incidents at a Sports and Health in the 42300 block of Soave Drive in Ashburn. Between 6:05 and 6:50 p.m., the locks on four lockers had been broken. Wallets were taken and a credit card from one of the victims was used at a nearby gas station.
Less than an hour later, a victim reported a jacket and car key had been taken from an unlocked gym locker in the Gold’s Gym, 21600 block of Red Rum Drive. The key was used to enter the victim’s car, where a wallet was taken. A second victim reported a backpack was taken from an unlocked locker. The backpack was found later, with the victim’s wallet and watch missing.
