Redskins Ranked As One Of Most Valuable Sports Franchises: Forbes

ASHBURN, VA—Football season is not far away, and DC sports fans have one more thing to be happy about when it comes to their beloved Washington Redskins. Washington’s NFL franchise has been ranked by Forbes as one of the most valuable franchises across all sports.

In the most recent Forbes ranking of the top 50 most valuable teams in sports, the Redskins came in at 11th. The team has a value of $2.95 billion, an amount Forbes said increased by 4 percent in the past year. The Dallas Cowboys came in first with a value of $4.2 billion.
