Two time cancer survivor Taylor Love and will be participating in her first Triathlon named after her to support her medical expenses.

Provided:
Sept. 14, 2014. — In December 2006, Taylor Love, at the age of 18 months, was diagnosed with a deadly childhood cancer called neuroblastoma; her parents were told she had a 20-30% chance to survive this deadly disease...Taylor’s fight to live was on. Beginning that December day and over the past 7 years Taylor navigated an intense treatment path that included surgeries, multiple rounds of high dose chemotherapy, radiation, clinical trials, bone marrow transplant, countless poke, pains and medicines; she defied many odds over the years including a secondary cancer diagnosis – chemo induced leukemia, and has, for now, won her cancer battle . During this time, Taylor’s community played a large role as they rallied around Taylor and her family and supported them in many ways.
In an effort to help offset the increasing medical bills, friends of The Love’s and owners of Tri-Performance hosted the first Tri 4 Love Triathlon with proceeds benefiting treatment costs for Taylor’s medical care. Over the years, many have come out to support Tri 4 Love and Taylor and pushed themselves to complete this fun sprint triathlon. Tri 4 Love is an event for both those new to triathlons as well as veteran athletes. In fact it has got to be one of the friendliest triathlons around and offers both team and individual participation. This is a great event for those new to triathlons and you don’t need to be in top shape to compete. In the end we there to celebrate Taylor, her life and the milestones she has achieved.
