Apparent road rage sparked an incident Monday in Ashburn, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. The two vehicles pulled over.

ASHBURN, VA — Road rage is something best kept under your breath unless, that is, you're the confrontational type. If that's the case, you're going to do what you're going to do, whether it's a flip of the bird, a honk of the horn or something more nefarious. All of which brings us to following incident that occurred Monday in the area of Ryan Road and Beaverdam Road, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Around 8:15 a.m., the victim said he was driving a box truck in the area when he came upon a Mercedes traveling under the posted speed limit. He honked his horn, and that sparked anger from the other driver. They both pulled over onto Beaverdam Road. That's when the driver of the Mercedes allegedly made racially charged comments and cursed at the box truck driver and his passenger.
