Atlanta Airport Power Outage: How To Check Flight Status, Rebook

Hundreds more flights were canceled Monday after an 11-hour power outage at Hartsfield-Jackson. Check flight status and rebook flights here.

ATLANTA, GA — The morning after an 11-hour power outage at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, airlines still were struggling to get back up and running at full capacity. About 1,100 flights were canceled Sunday at the busy hub, and hundreds more already were canceled for Monday.

Atlanta-based Delta, which has its largest hub at the world's busiest airport, canceled about 300 flights Monday morning in order to more quickly return to normal with the rest of its schedule.

The airport was encouraging travelers with Monday tickets to arrive at the airport earlier than usual and telling people who had tickets to fly Sunday to reprint those tickets on Monday.
