School Bus Hit By Cement Truck Thursday Morning in Loudoun County: Police

Two students were injured, and the cement truck immediately fled the scene, according to Loudoun County Police. The truck is red and white.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — A cement truck slammed into a school bus with kids aboard around 7:30 a.m. Thursday and then fled the scene in the area of Reservoir Road, according to Loudoun County Police.

Two students of the 54 on board are being treated for minor injuries. A second school bus was called to take the students to school.

The truck is described as being red and white, and police identified the driver but have yet to release a name. The truck was headed south on Evergreen Mills Road near Black Branch Parkway, and the bus was headed north when the collision occurred.
