School Bus Hit In Loudoun County: Police

A man was arrested after running into a school bus and then plowing into a mailbox in Aldie, says the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

ALDIE, VA—A man was arrested after running into a school bus and then plowing into a mailbox Friday morning in the 25000 block of Mineral Springs Circle, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. DanielR. Miller, Jr., 40, of Aldie, was charged with one count of felony hit and run and one count of misdemeanor hit and run.

Shortly after 6:30 a.m., police responded to the scene and found that a vehicle driven by Miller had struck a Loudoun County Public Schools school bus, with no injuries reported. Miller fled but then hit a nearby mailbox, after which he was apprehended. He also was served with multiple unrelated warrants from a Feb. 17 incident.
