Sexual Assault Charges Filed Against Loudoun Massage Therapist: Police

A massage therapist in Loudoun County was accused of sexually assaulting two women, and police believe there may be more victims.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — A massage therapist who worked in Ashburn was arrested last week after he was accused of sexually assaulting two women, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said.

Authorities said the assaults occurred during massages and there may be more victims.

The sheriff's office identified the massage therapist as 20-year-old Patrick Erlandsen from Leesburg.

Erlandsen is charged with one count of aggravated sexual battery and one count of attempted object sexual penetration, according to the police report.

Erlandsen is being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center, according to court records.

If convicted of all counts, Erlandsen could face up to 50 years in prison, based on Virginia's sentencing guidelines for the felonies.

In a news release, the sheriff's office said the assaults occurred during separate incidents on July 1 and July 7. The first incident was reported to police on July 2.

In a report, police said the assaults occurred during massages at the NOW Massage on Thorndike Street in Ashburn.

Detectives with the sheriff's office's Special Victims Unit believe there may be more victims. Anyone who may have been a victim can contact Detective Sayre at 703-777-1021.
