Fight, Gunshot Reported In Ashburn + Child Left Unattended In Aldie: Loudoun Crime Report

Several crimes were reported around Loudoun County over the weekend, including a fight and gunshot at an Ashburn townhouse

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Deputies arrested two men after a fight at a townhouse in Ashburn on Sunday morning. In Aldie, a woman faces several charges after authorities said she left her child unattended.

Takiesha Williams, a 36-year-old woman from Aldie, is charged with gross, wanton, or reckless care for a child. She also faces charges of assaulting a law enforcement officer, obstruction of justice, destruction of property, and disorderly conduct.

Around 6 p.m. on Sunday, a resident in the 42200 block of Terrazo Terrace said a young child was wandering outside. Deputies investigated and determined that the child's mother, who they identified as Williams, left them unattended.

Authorities said that Williams returned to the home two hours later and was "combative with deputies."

The children were placed in the care of a family member, and Williams is being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.

In Ashburn, two men were arrested after a fight at a townhouse, the sheriff's office said. While deputies investigated the fight, they determined that one of the men had fired a gunshot that struck the back door.

Daniel Fuentes was charged with reckless handling of a firearm, disorderly conduct, and assault. He was held on a $5,000 bond. William Fuentes was charged with disorderly conduct and assault; he was held on a $2,500 bond.

Residents around the county also reported other incidents throughout the weekend. On Friday night in Chantilly, a victim told police that she was surrounded by a group of children and one of them assaulted her. Police did not say how old the victim was.

The sheriff's office said there were no injuries and the assault is still being investigated.

Near Barrister Street and State Street in Ashburn, a passerby said he saw children driving construction equipment on a job site. Deputies said they found the equipment nearby and it was damaged. The sheriff's office did not say if they identified the children or if any charges were pending.
