Silver Diner Sets Opening Date For Second Loudoun Location
Silver Diner plans to open its second Loudoun restaurant at the Loudoun Crossroads this week, the company announced.

CHANTILLY, VA — Loudoun's newest Silver Diner restaurant is scheduled to open on Wednesday at the Loudoun Crossroads shopping center in Chantilly.
The location is the second Silver Diner in Loudoun County. An Ashburn location opened in June 2021.
Silver diner announced a lease to join the recently developed Loudoun Crossroads in September 2022. Originally, the facility was slated to open last summer. The Chantilly restaurant will be the 22nd location for the chain.

A ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Wednesday at 44050 Pointe Plaza in Chantilly. The event will be attended by Silver Diner chef Ype Von Hengst and members of the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors.
Last year, Silver Diner CEO and co-founder Robert Giaimo said the restaurant chain plans to continue expanding after more than 30 years in business.

"We’ve adapted our updated diner concept to meet various architectural retail opportunities and we’ve adapted to best meet our customer demands and needs,” Giaimo said in a news release. "Our ability to adapt our architecture and evolve our menu while maintaining the essence of a diner, has been our key to success. It’s all about adaptability, evolution, listening to customer feedback and providing menu options."
Silver Diner is known for its diverse menu including classic diner staples and accessible options that are vegan, plant-based, or gluten-free.
