Startups will be scored based on the following criteria.

1) Concept Quality & Newness

2) Traction / Market Validation
3) Articulation of Market Opportunity
4) Executing Team Completeness

Competition Format: 4 minutes to present idea/company to an audience of judges, peer entrepreneurs, investors, and mentors.

Mr. Gumbinner is a serial executive / entrepreneur / advisor / mentor / investor. He has participated in over US $25 billion of successful financings and corporate transactions. In addition to his numerous private investment activities, Mr. Gumbinner is a consultant and advisor to many early stage ventures, and has served in an executive capacity or on Boards &/or Advisory Groups of over 50 ventures.

Jennifer O’Daniel joined CIT GAP Funds in 2003, and is responsible for sourcing, diligencing and closing of seed and early stage investments. As part of the investment team, O’Daniel has been part of transactions in over 100 seed and early-stage companies via CIT GAP Funds which has been recognized by Entrepreneur Magazine’s Annual VC100 list since 2006.

Ara Bagdasarian is an active community leader who served as Chairman of the To...wn of Leesburg’s Economic Development Commission, President of the Loudoun Symphony Orchestra, founding Board member of the Loudoun Center for the Arts, George Mason Enterprise Center, and founding member of the Loudoun Lemonhead Council where entrepreneurs help entrepreneurs succeed through peer advisory sessions.
