STEP SISTERS ANNOUNCE THIRD ANNUAL CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT

Scramble kicks off breast cancer awareness month

The Step Sisters have announced their third annual golf tournament in support of local breast cancer patients. The Step Sisters’ Scramble takes place October 1 at 8AM at Raspberry Falls Golf & Hunt Club. Leesburg-based Kelly Insurance Agency is the title sponsor of the event.

Founded in 2005, the Brambleton-based organization has raised over $500,000 in the fight against breast cancer. Earlier this year, the group announced a major shift in focus. Working with INOVA Loudoun Hospital, funds now raised by the group provide much needed patient services such as transportation, house cleaning and fresh food delivery.

The Scramble includes 18 holes on a Gary Player signature course, cart and green fees, unlimited beverage cart, post-tournament reception, awards buffet and prizes. Those wishing to register should visit www.StepSistersScramble.com by September 24.
