Armed Robbery Reported At Beauty Supply Store In Sterling On Saturday: Sheriff's Office

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office reported that a beauty supply store in Sterling was robbed at gunpoint on Saturday. A suspect is still at large. Police believe the suspect fled the scene in a Honda Accord with temporary license plates.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — A suspect robbed a beauty supply store in Sterling at gunpoint on Saturday, police said. Authorities are still looking for the suspect.

The robbery occurred around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, according to a report from the sheriff's office. Officials said the suspect robbed the beauty supply store in the 21000 block of Atlantic Boulevard.

The man entered the store and placed merchandise into a bag. When an employee asked him to pay for the goods, the suspect displayed a gun, police said.

The suspect then left the store with the stolen merchandise.

Police described the suspect as a Black male wearing a black jacket with a large white Nike logo on the back, a grey hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black shoes with white soles, and a light blue surgical mask. Authorities said he drove away in an older Honda Accord with temporary Virginia license plates.
