STERLING, VA — A Sterling Family Dollar store was robbed at gunpoint on Sunday evening, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Authorities are still working to identify the robber.

No injuries were reported in the robbery, and the robber did not fire any gunshots, according to the police report.

Authorities described the robber as a white woman with a slim build. At the time of the robbery, she was wearing a black hat, black mask, oversized blue and black plaid flannel jacket, black jeans, and black boots.

The robbery occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Family Dollar store in the 300 block of Enterprise Street in Sterling. Investigators said a woman entered the store, walked up to the counter, pulled out a gun, and demanded money.

She then left the store. The sheriff's office did not say how much money was stolen.
