Sterling Hit-and-Run Driver Is At Large: Police

The victim in Tuesday night's accident was treated for his injuries, says Loudoun County Sheriff's Office

ASHBURN, VA — Loudoun County police are looking for the motorist who struck a pedestrian Tuesday night on a Sterling street and drove away. Sheriff's deputies responded at about 9:51 p.m. to the scene of the hit-and-run accident, in the vicinity of East Holly Avenue and North Fillmore Avenue, according to a police report.

They found a man who had been hit by an automobile; the unidentified accident victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, the report stated.

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office describes the car as "a dark sedan, possibly black." Anyone who witnessed or has information regarding this accident is asked to contact Investigator S. Allen of the LCSO's Crash Reconstruction Unit at 703-737-8308.
