Pedestrian, 24, Killed In Friday Night Crash On Route 7 In Sterling
A 24-year-old Sterling resident died after being struck by a sedan Friday night on Route 7 at Palisades Parkway.
LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — A 24-year-old Sterling resident was killed Friday night after being struck by a vehicle on Route 7, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded around 9:20 p.m. to Route 7 at Palisades Parkway in Sterling for a report of a pedestrian struck by a sedan, the sheriff's office said.
The pedestrian, identified as Shawneil Clarke Alexander, 24, of Sterling, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the sedan remained at the scene following the crash, according to authorities.

Crash Remains Under Investigation
The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office did not say what may have led to the collision or whether any charges were being considered. The crash remains under investigation.
