Sterling Shooting Leaves 3 Injured On Saturday Night: Police

Three people were injured after a shooting on Saturday night near N. Fillmore Avenue and Fletcher Road in Sterling, authorities said.

STERLING, VA — Three people were injured after a shooting in Sterling on Saturday night, according to a report from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Authorities said the shooting occurred near N. Fillmore Avenue and Fletcher Road.

No deaths have been reported in connection with the shooting. One victim, a woman, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. The sheriff's office noted that her injuries were not life-threatening. Two other people reported minor injuries, authorities said.

The sheriff's office has not announced any arrests in connection with the shooting. Authorities have also not provided a description of any suspects.

The shooting occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, police said. Deputies said they found one victim at the scene of the shooting, while two other victims returned to the scene later.

The sheriff's office is asking residents in the area to review the footage from any surveillance cameras they may have to look for suspicious activity.
