Update: Sterling Stabbing Suspect Turned Herself In: Police
The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said a woman wanted in connection with a Sterling stabbing has turned herself in.

STERLING, VA — A stabbing suspect turned herself in after an April 1 stabbing in Sterling, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said.
The victim, who police did not identify by name, received treatment at an area hospital. They have been released from the hospital.

Authorities identified the suspect as 29-year-old Myeesha Hamilton. Hamilton is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds, according to the sheriff's office.
Hamilton is charged with one count of aggravated malicious wounding. If convicted, Hamilton could face a life sentence.

On April 1, deputies found a victim suffering from multiple stab wounds at a home in the 21000 block of Stanford Square in Sterling, the sheriff's office said. Police believe the suspect, Hamilton, left the home before deputies arrived.
Authorities noted that Hamilton and the victim knew each other.
