SterlingFest Celebrates 30th Anniversary Saturday
The 30th annual SterlingFest is Saturday, and begins with the traditional Columbus Day Parade, beginning at Park View High School.

STERLING, VA — Whenever a festival begins with a parade, you know it's not just any other festival. And this one certainly is not. It's the milestone 30th anniversary of SterlingFest, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., at the Sterling Community Center area.
Starting things off will be the annual Sterling Park Columbus Day Parade, organized by The Knights of Columbus and The Loudoun Elks Lodge 2406. The parade starts 10 a.m. at Park View High School and goes down Laurel Avenue to Sterling Boulevard, up Sterling Boulevard to West Holly Avenue and ends at the Elks Lodge Barn. Parts of Sterling Blvd and side streets will be closed during the parade. (For more local news, click here to sign up for real-time news alerts.
