Sterling’s Spring Job Fair Set for April 21, 2018
Supervisor Saines and INMED Host the Third Annual Spring Job Fair
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Sterling, April 2, 2018: Loudoun County Board of Supervisors Member Koran Saines, in partnership with the INMED Family & Youth Opportunity Center, will host the third annual Spring Job Fair on April 21st, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Claude Moore Recreation & Community Center, located at 46105 Loudoun Park Lane in Sterling. Supervisor Saines and INMED plan to feature more than 50 employers from varying industries, including trade/construction, healthcare, hospitality/food service, technology, transportation, retail and service industries. Some of the employers on board include—Lowe’s Home Improvement, Salamander Resort & Spa, The National Conference Center, B.F. Saul Company, YMCA Loudoun, UPS, Chariots for Hire, Wegmans, Women Giving Back, Career Technical Institute, DHL, Hyatt House (Sterling), Dulles Area Transportation Association, Sterling Volunteer Fire Company, Concessions International, Capital Mechanical, Leesburg Composite Squadron Civil Air Patrol, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 26, and Northwest Federal Credit Union.

In addition to employment opportunities, workforce development resources will be provided by Loudoun County’s Workforce Resource Center, Crossroads Jobs, Northern Virginia Family Service, Parks & Recreation, the Sheriff’s Office, Public Library, Public Schools and Loudoun County Government.

Koran T. Saines was elected to the Board of Supervisors representing the Sterling District in November 2015. He serves on the Board’s Finance/Government Operations and Economic Development Committee and represents Loudoun on the Northern Virginia Manpower Consortium Workforce Investment Board. He also serves as one of Loudoun’s representatives on the Route 28 Transportation Improvement District Commission and is one of the Board’s representatives on the Family Services Board.
INMED Partnerships for Children has been serving low-income communities in Loudoun County since 1994. Its Family & Youth Opportunity Center in Sterling was established in 2014 to provide a continuum of care and support from the prenatal period through adulthood via home visiting services to promote healthy child development and parenting skills, family education and financial literacy, after-school academic enrichment, STEAM-focused summer camps, workforce skills development and job fairs.
