Suspects in Robbery of Sterling Exxon Arrested: Police
Two suspects in the April 12 robbery of a convenience store at an Exxon in Sterling have been arrested, the Loudoun Sheriff's Office said.
STERLING, VA — Two suspects in the April 12 robbery of a convenience store at an Exxon in Sterling have been arrested, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said Thursday. Both suspects are being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on no bond.
Jorge A. Alvarado-Soriano, 19, was arrested Thursday and the other suspect, Elias G. Guzman, 20, was arrested last Friday. Both suspects are from Herndon and have been charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery, the sheriff's office said.
The suspects allegedly entered the convenience store of the gas station located at 45601 Falke Plaza at about 1:15 p.m on April 12. The clerk reported one suspect went to purchase a drink. After the clerk opened the register, the one suspect allegedly jumped over the counter. The second suspect allegedly went around the counter and removed an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.

No weapons were displayed during the robbery, the sheriff's office said.
