Suspicious Event Turns Creepy in Ashburn: Police
Residents heard a key turn in a door to their apartment, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office, and then watched a man run away.

ASHBURN, VA — Here's something the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office officially describes as a "suspicious event."
Actually, it's more akin to a creepy event.
Shortly after 9 p.m., residents in the 22500 block of Leanne Terrace told police they hard someone place a key in their door and turn the lock. But the deadbolt was secured and no entry was made.

The residents then saw a white male with dark hair running away from the apartment.
Adding to the creepiness is the fact that earlier in the day, according to the residents, someone had entered their apartment without their consent and apparently fixed their garbage disposal — but no maintenance slip was left, contrary to protocol.
