Suspicious Man Approaches Child Riding Bike In Sterling: Police

Police are looking for a man who approached a child riding his bicycle and peppered him with questions Tuesday in Sterling: LCSO.

STERLING, VA—Police are looking for a man who approached a child riding his bicycle and peppered him with questions Tuesday in the area of Scott Drive and Cherry Tree Court, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

He's described as having light skin and possibly Hispanic with brown hair. He was wearing an orange and grey windbreaker, and grey or tan shorts. He was last seen leaving the area on a walking path near East Juniper Avenue and Scott Drive.

Around 6:30 p.m., according to a resident, the man approached her child and asked him questions including what school he attended and what grade he was in. The child didn't answer and went home. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-777-0407.
