Suspicious Man Approaches Children In Sterling: Police
In what the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office describes as a "suspicious event," an unknown man approached children outside in Sterling.

STERLING, VA—In what the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office describes as a "suspicious event," an unknown man approached children outside Monday afternoon in the area of Sugarland Run and Avondale Drive. He's described as olive skinned and driving a brown/gold minivan.
Around 4:30 p.m., a resident's children were outside when a man in a vehicle approached them and said, "You look far away from home," and then drove away from the scene. Police say he didn't say anything else and no physical contact was made. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-777-0407.
