Suspicious Stranger Stalking Teens Sought In Sterling
Police are seeking a suspicious man who repeatedly followed a teenage girl and her friend last week while they were walking in Sterling.

STERLING, VA — Police are seeking information about a suspicious stranger who repeatedly followed a teenage girl and her friend last week while they were walking in the 43000 block of Freeport Place. It may not have been an isolated incident, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
He's described as being white, possibly Hispanic, middle aged, around 5-10 with black hair and brown eyes. He had a colorless tattoo on his upper right arm and was wearing a black tank top and black pants. His vehicle was described as a black SUV with Virginia license plates.
On Tuesday, a woman told police that the previous Thursday around 8:30 p.m., her daughter and a friend were approached by an unknown man asking for directions. As they walked, he said he's working in the area and asked whether there was a park nearby. (For more local news, click here to sign up for real-time news alerts. He began walking toward the park but then turned around and kept on following the teens until they went into a home. Turns out he had been parked right in front of it. He got in and drove away, and police said the mother told them a nearly identical incident happened the same day to someone else. Anyone with information is urged to call 703-777-0475.
