Suspicious Woman Approaches Girl Walking To School In Sterling

Add another incident to the list of suspicious adults approaching children in Loudoun County. The latest reported incident was Wednesday.

STERLING, VA — Add another incident to the list of suspicious adults approaching children in Loudoun County. The latest reported approach happened Wednesday morning in the area of Penny Lane and Willow Place, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

A parent told police that while a daughter was walking to school, a Hispanic woman asked if she would like a ride. The girl said no and the woman walked away. The woman was described as being in her 30s with curly hair. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-777-0407.

Before that one, the most recent reported incident was Monday in Aldie when a woman approached a boy in front of his home. Several other incidents involving suspicious strangers and children have been reported to Loudoun County police the past several weeks.
