Tee It Up with JDRF
Fundraiser held at Topgold by a local high school in support of Juveniles Diabetes Research.
On November 2018, Rock Ridge High School DECA will hold a Topgolf Fundraiser in support of Juvenile Diabetes Research. This non-profit organization is very close to the Rock Ridge DECA members as the 2017-2018 President and RRHS DECA alumni was affected by the condition.
This event is being led by Riya Maheshwari and Charvi Mayur, two marketing students and Vice Presidents of RRHS DECA chapter. DECA is a co-curricular organization that allows students to compete in various marketing-related fields. The event will be documented in a Creative Marketing Project and taken to the State Leadership Conference to be presented in front of of judges.
Tee It Up with JDRF will take place at TopGolf in Ashburn, Virginia on November 18, 2018 from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Tickets are currently priced at $40 for students and $50 for adults. They will be sold online until November 16, 2018 and can also be purchased at the door the day of the event.
All proceeds will go to JDRF.
This global organization is the leading research foundation for Type 1 Diabetes and is currently funding glucose control, restoration, and clinical trials. RRHS DECA encourages community members to come out and show their support for this amazing cause.
