Teen Assaults Victim, Shouts Racial Slurs: Loudoun County Crime Report
The Loudoun Sheriff's Office investigated several incidents around the county over the weekend, including several assaults by children.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office responded to several assaults around the region over the weekend. Multiple assaults were committed by children, according to the police report.
On Sunday night in Sterling, a woman told police that she encountered a group of rowdy children at the movies. She said the children, who were seated behind her, started to throw things at her and her family, according to the police report.
Authorities said the woman threw a water bottle in the direction of the children. After the movie, a member of the group struck the woman and yelled racial slurs, police said. The child ran away, and the victim went to a hospital to receive treatment for her injuries.

The assault is still being investigated, though the victim said she wasn't sure if she wanted to pursue charges.
On Thursday afternoon, deputies responded to Seneca Ridge Drive in Sterling for an assault. A victim told police that she was walking in the area when two boys walked up to her and told her to stop listening to her music, police said. One of the boys then pushed her to the ground and ran away, according to the police report.

Another assault occurred at Top Golf in Ashburn on Saturday night. A witness told police that two children purposefully threw water on a family member. The witness said they had a "physical altercation" with one of the children before they left the area.
Elsewhere in Ashburn on Saturday, a woman told police that she was walking near Russell Branch Parkway and Ashburn Village Boulevard when a man on a red motorcycle pulled up next to her. The man pulled on her arm in an attempt to get her on the motorcycle, police said.
The woman walked away and later contacted authorities. The sheriff's office did not have a suspect description available.
