Thanks, Winter: No Mid-Term Exams in Loudoun County

Delays and snow days in the past week ruin test-taking tradition.

Sorry, kids. Those mid-term exams you’ve been preparing for just got cancelled. We know you’re torn up.

The Loudoun County School District announced the change Thursday. Exams had been scheduled Jan. 20-23, but the district lost too much instructional time in the past week.

Those days will now be full instructional days. Jan. 26 will remain a student holiday and a teacher planning day. The first day of second semester begins Jan. 27.
