Juvenile Charged With Murder in Death of Sterling Teen
The fatal shooting occurred Friday.
Three suspects were taken into custody in connection with the shooting death of a 17-year-old in Sterling.
The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office said in a release that two adults and a juvenile are in custody. Through their investigation, detectives were able to locate and take into custody a 17-year-old male, an 18-year-old male and a 20-year-old male.
The 17-year-old, of Sterling was charged with second degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. His name has not been released as he is a juvenile.

Police identified the other two suspects as Henry Ernesto Dominguez Vasquez, 20 and Juan Moises Aguirre Zelaya, 18, both of Sterling. They were charged with possession of a firearm by a person who is not a citizen of the United States and accessory after the fact.
Police identified the 17-year-old shot on Friday as Danny Centeno-Miranda, 17, a student at Park View High School.

The victim was found after police responded to a call of multiple gunshots fired at 8:26 a.m. in the area of E. Cornell Drive and N. Duke Drive in Sterling. He was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
Schools in the area were placed on lockdown while police searched for the suspects.
Loudoun detectives worked in conjunction with the Virginia State Police, the Office of the Loudoun Commonwealth’s Attorney, Loudoun County Public Schools and the Northern Virginia Gang Task Force during the course of the investigation.
