May 14, 2014 - Sterling, VA - Tomorrow is the 9th Annual Dulles Greenway Drive for Charity. All proceeds taken in on the Dulles Greenway go to great organizations and charities as follows:
- March of Dimes
- Every Citizen Has Opportunity (ECHO)
- Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter (LAWS)
- Fresh Air/Full Care
- Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy
- Dulles Greenway Scholarship Program -- where the Greenway awards $1,500 to one senior at each of the Loudoun County public high schools (13).
The Greenway and these charities would appreciate any and all reminders to your listeners that even if they are not regular Greenway commuters, they can save time, avoid congestion and give back to their community by taking the Dulles Greenway today. Customers will receive a commuter discount on Washington Nationals tickets in the cash lanes at the Mainline toll plaza. Our goal is to raise $290,000 and we would need 64,000 cars to travel the Greenway.
If you'd like to cover the event further, please contact Terry Hoffman via email at thoffman@dullesgreenway.com or via phone at 703-668-0033.
The Dulles Greenway is a privately owned 14-mile toll road that connects Washington Dulles International Airport with Leesburg, Virginia.
