Two Killed During Vehicle Chase in Loudoun County: Police

The dead people were passengers in a vehicle that fled from police and slammed into a tree, says the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Two passengers will killed early Sunday morning after the driver of a vehicle fled from an attempted traffic stop and slammed into a tree in the area of Evergreen Mills Road and Stone Springs Boulevard near Arcola, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

David G. Brown. 25, of Ashburn, was charged with reckless driving, and police say additional charges are likely.

Shortly before 1:30 a.m., police attempted to pull over a speeding vehicle on northbound Old Ox Road near Dulles West Boulevard, but the driver then blew though a red light and led police on a chase before crashing.

The vehicle became engulfed in flames, the driver was pulled to safety but the two passengers were killed.
