ASHBURN, VA — Three people robbed the Ashburn Cigar and Vape store and stole a pair of vehicles on Thursday, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

No injuries were reported in the robbery or the thefts, authorities said.

Deputies arrested one suspect on Thursday night, who they identified as a "juvenile male." Two other suspects ran away from deputies and escaped.

The robbery occurred around 7 p.m. on Thursday in the 44000 block of Ashburn Shopping Plaza. Deputies determined that two people entered the store, threatened the clerk, and walked out with stolen items. They got into a vehicle, a stolen black Honda CRV, that was driven by a third person, according to the police report.

"Shortly after the first robbery, the individuals stole a second vehicle, which was left running by the owner in front of a convenience store in Sterling," the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said on Friday.

Deputies found both stolen vehicles near Gramercy Park Drive and Central Station Drive on Thursday evening. They arrested a boy, while the two other suspects ran away, police said.
