Village at Leesburg's Annual Block Party Takes Place Saturday

Free event will feature carnival rides, sidewalk sales, art demos and games for children and adults.

Village at Leesburg will celebrate its sixth Annual Summer Block Party, a free event from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.

The Village’s Main Boulevard will be closed to traffic to accommodate carnival rides, festival food, beer gardens, sidewalk sales, merchant activities, art demos and games for children and adults. The Block Party will also feature live music from The Greenbeets, Newton’s Firnas, MUDLARK and The Jamie & James Band.

Those who visited last year’s block party will notice many new additions to the Village at Leesburg this time around, including Smokehouse Live, a new live music and barbecue destination, as well as Rita’s Italian Ice and more stores and restaurants.

Village at Leesburg is along Route 7 at the Crosstrail Boulevard/River Creek Parkway exit in Leesburg.
