STERLING, VA—Two lottery tickets. Five numbers. Together, those two things worked out quite nicely for William Johnson of the Potomac Falls area.

Namely, he won $200,000 in the Virginia Lottery's Cash 5 game. Johnson used the same numbers on both tickets, and thus claimed two top prizes of $100 grand apiece.

He's planning to retire next year after more than 50 years with the same company, and now has something to make retirement a bit more palatable. "I just had a smile on my face yesterday," he told Lottery officials while having his tickets ratified.
