Walmart Worker Assaulted During Attempted Theft In Sterling: LCSO

A Walmart employee was assaulted by a customer attempting to steal a large amount of merchandise from the store in Sterling: LCSO

STERLING, VA—A Walmart employee was assaulted last Thursday by a customer attempting to steal a large amount of merchandise from the store in the 45400 block of Dulles Crossing Plaza, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

The suspect is described as a black man, 6-2, 210 pounds, in his early 30s and unshaven. He was wearing a dark baseball cap, a black T-shirt with the U.S. flag on front, dark shorts and dark sneakers.

Police say that when an employee tried to prevent him from leaving the store, he pushed the employee and fled. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-777-0407.
