Which DC airport is best?
In a region with so many flight options, residents have mixed opinions.

When asked which airport you prefer, it may seem obvious to everyone in Ashburn: Dulles, of course. It has more gates, serves more passengers, and services more airlines than Reagan National. Also, most importantly, it’s much closer to Ashburn.
Other metrics may surprise you, though. Even though Dulles has 315% more gates than Reagan National, it only serves 15% more passengers annually. But for people who live or work in DC, Reagan holds other distinctions: It’s accessible to public transit, stands only 3 miles from downtown Washington, DC, and has average wait times of less than 15 minutes.
So the ultimate conclusion is that it’s a wash. To help you decide Crystal Square Apartments put together “DC Airport Showdown” to help you compare and decide. Ultimately, it may just be a value judgement.
