Will Nance Named as Executive Director of Ashby Ponds

Ashburn, Virginia—Ashby Ponds, an Erickson Living retirement community in Loudoun County, has named Will Nance as Executive Director.

Mr. Nance joined Erickson Living in 1998 with an extensive background in sales, politics and nonprofits. He spent six years as the Sales Director at Greenspring, a sister community in northern Virginia, before moving into operations serving as Associate Executive Director for two years and as Executive Director for four years. In 2011, he was promoted to Regional Vice President of Sales for Erickson Living.

In his leadership role as Executive Director of Ashby Ponds, Mr. Nance will oversee daily operations and resident satisfaction at the 132-acre campus where 1,300 residents are served by 550 employees in independent living and continuing care neighborhoods.

Mr. Nance holds degrees from Auburn University and Strathclyde University in Scotland. Active at Fairfax Community Church, he is a Board Member of the Gloucester Institute, an organization that provides leadership development programs for minority college students.

A resident of Fairfax County, Mr. Nance and his wife Penny have two children, Claire and Briscoe.
