Woman Sexually Assaulted on Walk in Chantilly: Police
A woman out for a walk was sexually assaulted Monday afternoon in the area of Tall Cedars Parkway and Edgewater Street: LCSO

CHANTILLY, VA — A woman out for a walk was sexually assaulted Monday afternoon in the area of Tall Cedars Parkway and Edgewater Street, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. The suspect is described as a black male in his early 20s, 6-0 with a thin build and a black mole under his eye. He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with a Nike logo, black shorts and black crew length socks.
The woman told police she was walking on a path in the area of Eastgate View Drive. When she shifted from a sidewalk to a bike path, she saw an unknown man who appeared to be following her. At one point, she said he grabbed her rear end.

When that happened, she screamed. Then the man briefly stood in front of her before fleeing. He was last seen by the victim running south on Edgewater Street. A canvass of the area was conducted by police but came up empty.
