Woman Terrorized In Loudoun County: Police

ALDIE, VA — A man is being held without bond after terrorizing a woman Tuesday night in a parking lot in the 44000 block of Etna Terrace, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Akhiym I. Phillips, 28, of Leesburg, was charged with strangulation, assault and battery, grand larceny and destroying a phone line (to) prevent call to 911.

Shortly before 8 p.m., police went to the scene after a report of a woman screaming. The woman said she and the man had been involved in an argument that escalated and then turned violent. Police found Phillips nearby and arrested him.
